Here in Texas…where the temperature has been over 100 degrees for most of August…we appreciate zinnias! In fact, they happen to be the only flowers blooming in my garden at the moment…so I think it’s only fair we should honor them today…

As you can imagine, zinnias are great to work with for outdoor weddings…or any setting where you fear heat will be a factor. They typically last 5-7 days in a vase arrangement. Anyone used zinnias in an arrangement or wedding?
