super sale mode

This week begins operation downsizing both in the shop and my personal closet. Tonight I'll be putting the shop in super sale mode, meaning everything in the shop will be $15 and under! Some crazy deals are to be had...A $15 vintage wedding gown! How amazing would that be to say you bought your wedding dress for $15?


As far as my personal closet goes, well that's a surprise I'll save for later in the week! Now off to run the dreaded errands necessary in selling my Jeep. Cringe.

travelin' on sale

And so the time has come for another move! This time however, it's a bit different. I won't just be packing up my Jeep and heading across the country, I'll be selling it and...Well I'll save that news for tomorrow. In the meantime, I wanted to let ya'll know I'm having a crazy crazy sale over in the shop. Tomorrow morning I'll be marking everything 50% off including sale items! That means everything will be 50%-70% off from tomorrow until everything is gone.

A few more pieces for fall that is. These pieces are perfect for that weird in between period. That period when you feel like you need to be wearing burgundies, browns and such, but don't exactly need to be completely covered because somedays you still feel the warmth of the summer sun.

These lovelies will be up in the shop tonight so have a look if you see a piece you just can't live without. Just wait till you see that 1960s cocoa brown shift in full! A-dorable if I do say so myself.

It's soon to be fall you know, so here's a little sneak peak of tomorrow's shop update. Navy. Army green. Cream. Nothing but fall!

somewhat distracted

Sometimes when taking photos along the shore as the sun sets, I get a bit distracted.

Shop photos are supposed to showcase the clothing, right? But when I'm standing there, waiting for the shutter to blink at me, I'll notice a certain light glimmering across a certain plant. And I'll run over, ruining the shot. I'll have to take just one photograph. Then another. And another. And before I know it the sun is setting for the night. And what do I have? About half the photos I need for the evening, that's what!

dwindling summer

Apparently Summer decided to cancel it's Anacortes appearance this year. We seriously had about two nice weeks and now...Fog and cool weather again! Such a bust. I'm not even going to try to hide my emotions. In fact, to be simple and blunt about it, this makes me quite sad as Summer is my favorite time of year.

I've heard it's 102 down in Texas! Geez, I'm not wishing to be quite that toasty. However today's Etsy listing is an ode to Texas, where Summer still exists in full effect. These lovelies will be in the shop through the evening so stay tuned.
